What happens to your information

Short version: the only personal information this site collects is what you type into the contact form, and it is only ever used to reply to you.

Who is responsible

Nerthol is a web design studio based in South Wales. If you have a question about your information, email nerthol.studio@gmail.com.

What is collected

When you send the contact form, you give me your name, your email address, your business name and whatever you write in the message. Nothing else is collected, and there is nothing hidden in the form.

The message is passed to Resend, the email service that carries it to my inbox, and then it sits in my email. It is used to answer your enquiry and, if we end up working together, to run that project. It is never sold and never passed to anyone for marketing.

This site is hosted by Vercel, who deliver the pages to your browser and therefore handle your connection to it — including the technical logs described below.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no third-party tracking scripts. Nobody is being followed around the internet on my account. That is also why there is no cookie banner — there would be nothing for you to consent to.

Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages keep short-term technical logs, which can include IP addresses, for security and reliability. Those are Vercel’s, not mine.

How long it is kept

Enquiries stay in my email so I have a record of the conversation. If you would like yours deleted, ask and it is gone.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email the address above and I will sort it out. If you are not happy with how I have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
